Hillary Makes a Final, Jaw Dropping Accusation About The 2016 Election

by

Hillary Clinton is one brave soul.

And smart, and rather dashing, if she does say so herself.

In fact, while she admits that yes – she did make one or two mistakes on the campaign trail, it certainly wasn’t enough to lose her the election. In fact, it’s her own reliance that kept her going through the turmoil of having the loathsome and evil Donald Trump as an opponent.

Or something like that.

Frankly, I haven’t read the book. But that appears to be the way she’s framing the presidential campaign that will go down as one of the most historic losses in American political history.

In other words: It wasn’t her fault and she’s just so awesome.

Touring the country to sell this pile of garbage, she appeared on the Today Show, where Matt Lauer pointed out (correctly) that she spends a lot of time criticizing others in her book. In fact, Lauer said he was one of the people she criticized. Apparently, Lauer had the gall to ask her questions about her homebrew email server.

“When it comes to the self-inflicted wounds, when you look at the list of them … did you make enough mistakes yourself to lose the election without any of the other things you talk about?” he asked.

“I will say no, Matt,” she said. “I don’t think that will surprise you.”

Clinton insisted that the book wasn’t all “sad,” despite losing the election “somewhat bitterly.” After all, she said, she won the popular vote. She said there were some positive moments in the book, but in the interview, she immediately went back to attack mode – this time the media in general.

“I personally believe that our press, which is such an essential part of our country, our democracy, has to take some hard look at how it covered what was the first reality TV candidate, and I understand how difficult that was,” she said.

In the book, Clinton said she wrote about what kept her going during a “challenging time.”

“I think that story of resilience, of how you get knocked down and you get back up, that’s a part of it as well,” she said.

Among the other things Clinton blames: Sexism. Here’s an exerpt:

This has to be said. Sexism and misogyny played a role in the 2016 presidential election. Exhibit A is that the flagrantly sexist candidate won. A whole lot of people listened to the tape of him bragging about sexually assaulting women, shrugged, and said, ‘He still gets my vote.’

Hillary got 94% of the votes of black women, 68% of the votes of Latino women, and 54% of women overall — but she failed to win a majority of white female voters. “Women’s advancement has set into motion vast changes that inspire intense feelings of all kinds,” she writes. “Some of us are exhilarated. Others feel a whole lot of rage.”

Clinton has also blamed Russia, James Comey, the Democratic National Committee, and “those dumb emails.”
